First Woman Elected to Governing Board of Indian Business and Professional Council, Dubai

The Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) has elected the first woman in the organisation's history to its Governing Board.
Ruby Celly was elected by members from 19 contestants to join the highest levels of the IBPC, Dubai, only recognised representative organisation of Indian business and professionals in Dubai, UAE.
Celly bring's wealth of financial expertise to her new position, drawn from many years of working in the insurance industry. She is currently a Financial Planning Consultant at Nexus, the Middle East's largest insurance and financial services brokerage.
Her appointment demonstrates the ongoing development of the Indian business community in Dubai. The IBPC works to promote links between Indian and Emirati professionals and to increase the flow of trade between the two countries.
"I am very proud to have been the first woman elected to the Governing Board of such a prestigious organisation and I shall do my best to help achieve the IBPC's important goal of strengthening India-UAE ties," said Celly. "I am also an Executive Committee Member of the Indian Ladies Association of Dubai, and I see my work with the IBPC enhancing links not just between the UAE and India, but also providing fresh opportunities for professional Indian ladies."

As a Nexus consultant, Celly provides important support for a number of prominent families and individuals within the UAE's Indian national community.
