Role Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Executive – Commission Reconciliation to manage commission calculations, reconciliations, and payment validations across multiple sales channels and partners. The ideal candidate will ensure commission accuracy, identify discrepancies, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and support timely commission payouts while maintaining strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Commission Reconciliation & Validation
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of commissions earned versus commissions payable.
- Validate commission calculations against contracts, agreements, and commission structures.
- Reconcile commission reports with sales, CRM, ERP, and payment systems.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in commission calculations and payments.
- Ensure commission payouts are processed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare commission accruals and support month-end closing activities.
- Generate periodic commission reports for management review.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve commission processes and controls.
- Maintain clear documentation of commission agreements and payout structures.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, reconciliation, or commission management.
- Experience handling large-volume transaction reconciliations.
- Prior experience in fintech, banking, insurance, brokerage, affiliate marketing, or sales commission environments is preferred.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes and accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and commission management tools is advantageous.
