Sales Manager – Abu Dhabi

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the insurance brokerage business by leading and motivating a team of sales advisors. The role involves recruiting high-performing individuals on a commission basis, building an inspiring team, and ensuring the team delivers exceptional financial planning advice to clients. The Sales Manager will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and supporting advisors to achieve their targets while maintaining high standards of client service. This role requires a strong focus on field visits, performance management, and collaboration with the Sales Director to set and achieve annual business goals.

  1. Recruitment and Team Building:
    • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential candidates with a proven track record of achievement, drive, and motivation.
    • Build and lead an inspiring sales team capable of delivering exceptional results in life and savings, general insurance, and employee benefits.
  2. Sales Strategy and Business Growth:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets and expand the client base.
    • Advise clients on comprehensive financial planning by conducting thorough fact-finding and needs analysis.
  3. Field Visits and Coaching:
    • Conduct regular field visits to observe advisors in action, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance their performance.
    • Support advisors during their learning curve, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
  4. Performance Management:
    • Monitor and evaluate team performance against set targets, providing regular feedback and guidance.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Director to discuss performance, retention strategies, and annual target setting.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Organize and deliver training sessions to improve the team’s product knowledge, sales techniques, and client relationship management skills.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  6. Client Relationship Management:
    • Ensure the team maintains strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions and exceptional service.
    • Address client concerns and escalate issues when necessary to ensure client satisfaction.
  7. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
    • Ensure all sales activities and advice provided by the team comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the team is trained on compliance-related matters.
    • Implement and monitor adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) policies.
