April 17, 2008 – The achievements of leading companies in the region’s burgeoning insurance sector were recognized at the prestigious Middle East Insurance Awards 2008, held last week alongside INSUREX 2008, the region’s premier independent insurance conference.

Nexus Insurance Brokers LLC was recognized as the ‘Personal Lines Broker’ of the year, while Sun Insurance was awarded the ‘Commercial Lines Broker’ of the year 2008.

The fourth annual Middle East Insurance Awards, hosted by POLICY magazine and TMF Events, recognised outstanding achievement, innovation and success across all areas of the region’s insurance industry. The twelve award categories were judged by an international panel of experts and entries were invited from all registered insurance companies in the GCC, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iran.
